Download yourself some emulators + games from the internet for nothing.
I am currently playing Commodore 64 and games on my laptop. There are definately a lot of emulators available for handhelds.
I'm not sure if there is a version of MAME available for handhelds but if there is it is well worth downlading so you can play old skool arcade games.
