Luke Daniels has been given permission to play Brentwood
thanks Blueblood, thats good news. I did wonder as it was all a bit relaxed on here about the goal keeping situation. Not to suggest that Dan wouldnt be up to the job but with only 15 mins or so of first team experience I'd be a bit concerned in our first game in the FC Cup away against higher league opposition.
1-1 and back to the Hall I reckon. With only one Sat game and one Friday night game between now and 02 Jan we could do with a few more games. Doesnt mean I wont take a win though lol!!

My mates a Charlton fan and saw them beat PNE 5-2 last week. He reckons we should see them off.

Whilst keeping in the winning habit is good, I wont be overly disppointed if we get knocked out tomorrow. No one, with the exception of Phil Brown, would really expect us to win here and a cup run could get in the way of the main business, which is getting out of this league. That said, I reckon we'll get a draw.

Would love to see us getting a result, but at the moment I think Preston might just nick it. Either way I can see it being close.

If we don't win I'm not overly fussed, would be good for the income, but we if we do lose we can concentrate mainly on keeping up our form in the league, as well as working hard to get to Wembley in the JPT!

I'm very confident we can go there and cause them problems. A draw would be a great result as they are not going to fancy a long Tuesday night trip to Southend for a replay.

New ground for me, the cost of diesel getting there is more than compensated by the cheap cost of tickets.

Think we will frighten the life out of them, give them all the trouble they can handle. Our run must come to an end at some time and think we will lose by a narrow and undeserved 2-1 scoreline.

In a way I'd love us to progress and get a big third round tie.
In a way I'd love us not to, as these things tend to impact on your league form.

We have the quality in depth for this not to have as big an impact as what would normally be expected!
