A good example of people knowing how to use google and wiki so far.

I suppose if anyone has a grouse with cluniemore they can attend the 'meet the cluniemore day' on 12th August. I'm sure that would be glorious.

Firstly, it should be pointed out, knowing how we are sticklers for grammatical correctness on here, that the bird in question is not a Cappercaille nor a Cappercaile.........it is a CAPPERCAILLIE. Secondly, for those mistakenly believing that it is there for taking potshots at.................BEWARE!!!!!.............it's a protected species.

YOGI youve made the gaffers day he never usually replies but your excellent retorts have had him chuckling , he stands corrected hes found out his wee birdie could be a versatile ball of feathers he cant wait for the challenge ahead.

Not sure whether to continue with the bird related talk or not ..... anyway, here goes.

Pleased to hear players will not be leaving for nominal fees - but that is the way it should be , isn't it? To me, this suggests that the financial position of the club has not been over-stretched in the search for promotion - and that is very good news (assuming the validity of the source of the information is correct).

Good to hear that the club is trying to keep Hills, Eastwood and Belford ..... but that seems to make an extremely large squad (flock?) to call upon ....and there is the odd player that I think we could allow to pursue their career elsewhere.

All this leads me to ask when will we get to hear if some players are being left out from the club's plans for next season.

Finally, my apologies for the grammar and spelling etcetera - I am using a "new device" that seems anything other than a step forward

Belford has been told he wont be getting a deal mate.

What -The Beatles have split up! Next you'll be telling me they have put a dog into space.

I can't understand how I've missed so much information but I must admit to being a little bit distant since the last game.

Wikipedia says Freddy has signed a 2 year deal with Yeovil today.

I wasnt aware that they had come into money lol

Im sure that every team in the division would like a french mad man who can get sent off at any given moment , but is also capable of scoring goals and plenty of them while playing in defence midfield or attack.

The man is a legend and if he could curb his temper and hissy fits and stay disciplined would play much higher that league 2

I would price mohsni at 250k and Hall at 350k anything less than that is madness

We wouldn't get anywhere near that for either.

Then we shouldnt sell. If the best winger in the division isnt worth 350k then who the funck is.

Don't get me wrong as I think he is decent player but the little guy (us) very rarely gets a fair cut. If we were a championship side and Hall was half the player then your 350k would be realistic.

Indeed, Hall is in the last year of his contract, and if we sell I'd doubt if we would get 100k.

The club I believe have an option to extend Mohsni's contract, IMO he would fetch more than Hall.

Mohsni - legend? Please. :nope:

I meant legend as a term of endearment rather than actual legend, but there have been a lot lesser players over the years who seem to have achived god like status when in actual fact they werent all that at all.

TBF JCR who most thought was either god or the worlds worst has commanded some decent fees and i think hall is a better player. I get your point about league relevance though as i think someone like JCR would slaughter league 2

Best winger or not, you have to be exceptional to be worth £350000 when you play in league 2. I'd hang on to him another year, although with all the teams aware of what he can do now, I have my doubts as to whether he will be as effective next season.
