Player well wishes for the final!

Arrived back from holiday yesterday and catching up on all posts.

I must say reading the zone is making me quite emotional and I am close to tears.

In my 60 years supporting Blues I think if (when) we win at Wembley it will be the best experience I have had with Blues. Cardiff and Wembley finals were brilliant but this achievement would top the lot.

All I can say is THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART to everyone involved in rescuing this club from where it had been disgustingly sent by, (sorry, anger must not take over and off topic slightly). This club and every member of the owners, staff and players and most supporters should be so proud of what we all have achieved. There will be some disappointment going forward but, that is life, but ladies and gentleman SOUTHEND UNITED ARE BACK: 💙🤍💙 :LoyalSupporter:

Most people will never understand what you’ve been through to get here.
The unpaid wages. The uncertainty.
The pressure from landlords, partners, banks and bills,

Yet you still turned up. Week after week.
Game after game. You trained. You ran. You fought.
For the badge. For the fans. For each other.
Your never left. You stayed. That’s why you’re here. You never gave up.

When most thought the season was done, you didn’t flinch.
You didn’t fold. You rose.
With your commitment and your courage.
You kept going. You believed, when belief was painful.

And now, Wembley.

And now you can let this moment sink in.
This is a reward. Not just another match.
Hard earned through blood, sweat and tears.

You’ve played for something bigger than yourselves all season.
Now, you also play for everything you’ve endured.
For everything you’ve overcome. For everything you hope for.
And now it’s here.

Forget the the past, the pain, the chaos you’ve endured. Because now?
You’ve earned your place in this moment.
Because you’ve shown us what it means to you all.
Not fame. Not fortune. But faith in yourselves. In each other. In the fans. In the club.
In the impossible.

We believe in you. We’re proud of you.
And we’ll be with you, every step of the way.
Up the Blues 💙💙💙
And… thank you ❤️

Thank you to everyone at the club for giving us your all, through the dark times and more recently the high's of Rochdale and FGR, although i'm getting a bit too old now for the late nights!!

You are all hero's in the eyes of 30,000 supporters that will be cheering you on at Wembley, no matter what the result.

We all believe you can do this, we are the club that doesn't know how to die.

Thank you Tom and Rylee for all what you have done in the last week, so the wider Shrimper family can get to Wembley to cheer the lad's on.

Kevin, Darren and Mark we thank you for putting together such a close knit team. Us supporters appreciate we have a team that fights for each other and refuse to be defeated. We also thank you for sticking with us through the dark times.

Sunday we will not stop singing our hearts out, to help you cross that line.

Come on you Shrimpers. :LoyalSupporter: :LoyalSupporter: :LoyalSupporter: :LoyalSupporter: :LoyalSupporter: :LoyalSupporter:

Proud of you already.
Given what we've had to face, you've worked wonders.
Remember, the best supported club in the NL will have 29,000 cheering you to the Wembley rafters.
110% as always, please.

Most of this year I've just been saying 'I'm just glad I still have a club to support'. The result is irrelevant, I'm thankful we're still here and whatever happens tomorrow I will always be thankful for the heart you've shown in adversity. Not just in the last two games, but the last two seasons!

I've never been more proud to be a Southend fan as I am now.

Never count us out! UTB!

Thanks to each snd every one of you for what you've done to get us here.

Play with freedom, replace the word "nervous" with "excited".

You've got this. It is written.
