I voted Yes.

We have a shot at the playoffs but i think it will be tough.
Yes , one place outside and both Altrincham and Halifax In our sights.
But Rochdale have 5 games in hand.
That's a big advantage for them I think.
Let's see
Yes. Rochdale will be out of sight.
Halifax is our only hope...and we need a lot more goals for.

I am going to buck the trend and say I think we will make it.

it needs us to pick up form and tighten up a bit in certain areas of the game, but with the bigger squad allowing for proper rotation of players and in recent games despite not being totally fluid, getting results, we can do it imho.

Also, part of the lack of fluidity at times is down to the unusual factor of bedding in new players, for us in recent years anyway. We will only get better, as they bed in and get used to the tactics they are asked to play, as well as getting used to the players they are playing with and their foibles on the pitch.

It may well go down to the last game, but top 7? Yes it's definitely there to shoot for and we can do it.

If we make it then it's knock out cup football, that's where we might come a cropper. lol

And the last game of the season is ........... away at Gateshead.

We can make the playoffs but our goal difference means we can't rely on finishing level with anyone. We need wins and that can only come with positive team selections and play from the start of games and I'm not convinced that Maher is the man for that. We are not going to be relegated so steady as you go is OK for a few games more but then we must go for wins every game

I agree with you to a point, but we must start taking more of our chances. We create enough gilt edged opportunities, but take very few.

I'm not concerning myself with the other 6 teams and surrounds, regarding the playoffs. As i said at the start of the season, anyone putting a run together will find themselves climbing quickly, because other than Barnet it appears, the standard is quite similar and they are all busy beating or drawing with each other.

I do see us slightly above these teams in skillset now, quickly improving as a squad which by the way is very important with the games coming thick and fast. Of course, one harsh red card a la Yeovil at home or Woking away could derail momentarily, but i dont think anyone is relishing playing us right now.
Lets keep supporting, enjoy the ride and see where it takes us.
Last time i looked, 50% SZ voters believed we would make playoffs so i respect all views incoming, inc the 50% that say no. It makes for great reading and i'd be more interested in the reasons for those that dont think like me.
Since Tilson left the club as manager, we've not had many seasons at all where we hoped to beat teams consistantly. It's bloody great to have a club on the positive ! #bridgeovertroubledwater

As above .......... innit. And the comment(s) about concentrating on ourselves & our games.

Any team in or around the mix on a good run will find themselves steadily moving up the table.

Any team not getting points (Solihull anyone) will progressively drop out of the mix.
