Whatever the result i hope for a good game that is refereed fairly ,good banter between the supporters and respect between all, to big well supported clubs,who really shouldnt be in the NL but for bad owners at the time . And a close result .

Yeah. We've had it rougher than everyone. You'll disagree, but I'd have rather had your last 30 years than ours. I'm not belittling your recent issues. They have been awful & the lower point for you probably has been lower than ours, it's not lasted as long though. Our lack of success is historic.

34 years since a promotion
31 years since a trip to Wembley

22 bottom half finishes in 31 years.

This is the game between the 2 clubs who deserve a break.

All the above is why I can't see us winning.

I have been jealous of Bury fans, that's how bad it is. They've had success.

Hello mate and welcome, you have a lot of power in your team and that's what worrys me the most, you will be favourites, but I along with most Shrimpers are going to be just happy to be there, I still believe it might be too early for us and maybe another year in non league might help us long term, others might disagree, if we was to lose then I can't think of a better club to go up in place of us, but keep lge 2 warm us we will be back if not this time but in the not too distance future.
Whatever the outcome and I hope we win by the way 😆 I will be very proud of my club,players and fans.

Thanks. Southend fans seem a friendly bunch.

I feel very different. If we dont go up this year, I don't see how we ever do & maybe we are just cursed. Southend seem to have some voodoo magic at the minute & I'm scared of it. That isn't to say you aren't a good side too, just that the gods are smiling down on you at the minute.

Tuesday wasn't like any game Ive ever been to. Grown men & women crying just because we've got to Wembley. People of nearly 40 saying "I've waited my whole life to go to Wembley".

I am hoping there isn't a feeling of just being happy to be there from us. We had that in 1994. I am going to Wembley to try to exorcise the demons of that day!!

Anyway, I've took over this site for too long.

I'll be back in a few days, unless I've had a heart attack through nerves.

The Wembley page is saying that for league 1 & 2 play-off finals then tickets are via the clubs pages. I wonder if our game will be the same?

IIRC, the five times we've been to final's, we've sold the tickets.
