Indeed it does!! It's run by my mate's dad that used to own the Oban Fish Shop (otherwise known as Garside's), on the corner of Stornoway Rd and (unsurprisingly) Oban Rd.

That was the best chippy for miles around then, so I'm not surprised that the Mayflower is up to the usual Garside standards.

Highly recommended, as long as you're not a vegetarian!!

Dave - Having met Danny you'll appreciate that he is a big fella and he'll not take kindly to such comments....

Apparently his old man sold the chippy a few months back, so it might not be as good as it was back in the day. So much for my comments about the culinary delights of Old Leigh!!

I had a porion of their chips last week and the magic was still there.
