Phillips is a shrimper

even Scrivs is at it now:

"Striker Francis Laurent made his first start of the season against Leyton Orient last week following a month on the sidelines.

The Frenchman was stretchered off in the opening game of the season after injuring his ankle against Huddersfield Town."

:D

That's poor.

I'm fairly sure Macca was out there.
Macca was 100% definately out there, as him and Barrett came round the pitch clapping the fans, along with Barnard (who did a lap of the pitch before collecting his award and match ball), and Mildenhall did definately clap the fans, but not sure if he went round the whole pitch though tbh.

You will always find misprints in local newspapers because, due to falling sales and ad revenue, they run with a skeleton staff of reporters who are treated like battery hens working two or three hours a day unpaid overtime on low salaries.

The nationals don't make so many mistakes because they have much bigger teams. My mate works for the Sun and last night he spent his shift sitting in a pub outside Wembley instructed to see if any trouble kicked off. Tough life.

Does desktop publishing not have a simple device called a spellchecker then? Although, obviously yesterday's Echo one I pointed out would only have been picked up as "repetition" not as a spelling error.
