I think Coker is great, best LB we have had in a long time but he does worry me when he has the ball one on one with someone and he tries to take it round them. On a few occasions this season, we have lost possession when he does this and its scary. I voted Sokolik as he is the new 'Beast'. Would love him to sign permanently

Love it! He got my vote for the very same reason. Been a long time since we had a Beast in the side, Dave Martin maybe.

I voted Coker , but for maybe different reasons to others .
Across the back the most important players are the centre backs followed by left and right backs , but right backs are far more common and easier to get hold off- so a 'good left back' is always a better signing than a 'good' right. Coker has been here all season, the centre backs haven't though and for that reason Coker gets my vote. It says a lot to me that we signed Thomson , but the other three centre backs taht we all talk about are all loanees -

Ben Coker for me, a lb who is to good for league two and will only get better at the age that he is, col u were wrong to let him go defiantly!!!!!!!!!!!

I've voted Atkinson but Coker and White have been great. Atkinson will be extremely vital for us in the playoffs. Remember, he did this all last year with Bradford.

One of the reasons I'm confident about the play-offs is that we did it last year with the JPT semi-finals and then the big day out at Wembley.

This is what stood us in good stead in 2005 v Northampton and Lincoln and what we hadn't had against Doncaster and Crewe.

Good shout YB.......bentley, leonard, timlin, corr, straker...and anyone else still here from last season know all about the two leg semi then the big occasion at Wembley. ....experience is vital although a young crewe side that swept into then through the play offs the other year would argue otherwise

Atkinson for me closely followed by coker
for the love of god what deranged individuals voted for Gomis the clown ?

If we manage to get Egan on a permanent deal then he might give Gomis a run for his money...

Coker has been the best performing permanent signing in my opinion and certainly the surprise. Sokolik, Egan and Kiernan all proved important loan additions.

Having said this I don't think you can underestimate the signing of our skipper, he is an example on and off the pitch and is a very consistent performer. His appointment surprised me but what an astute signing and appointment by Phil Brown.

Other impressive 'signings' would include vitally offering new contracts for Corr, Prosser (pre season) and extensions for the likes of Bentley, Hurst, Leonard, Coker and Timlin during it.
