Listening to Talk Sport and they have just announced another interview with Phil Brown regarding a role in the England set up... Tune in the dial ....

Ken I have managerial experience and on that basis I had better not apply !

I agree with both sides but this is the bit that gets me. I don't dislike PB whatsoever but he shouldn't sell himself in the papers. Like you said he could just say 'Im not prepared to talk about other positions'.

Im not overacting at all. I couldn't really care in all honesty. But I can understand why some people find it unprofessional.

Indeed. With Clement turning down England I am sure Brown will be even more excitable in the press now.

From nowhere PB has gone to 6/1 4th favourite for the Hull job. Most saying it's something to do with a joke tweet from Curtis Woodhouse.

It's only because nobody credible wants to go there. 13 fit players and no players brought in. No decent premiership manger would want that. So the bookies are looking further afield. I still don t think the owners would look as far as league one to recruit a new manager though.

Woodhouse has since tweeted that Ian Ashbee (Hull''s new no 2) might have said Phil Brown had got the job, then again, it could have been Phil Neville

Ive seen his tweet and assumed he was on a wind up from the first one... Still not sure if the bookies would slash odds that much based on what someone like Woodhouse has tweeted

It doesn't matter what the bookies think, they slash their odds based on how many bets are made, not on what they personally believe.
