FANS' PLAYERS OF THE MONTH FOR DECEMBER

Steven Gerrard is not only the Fans' Player of the Month for December, he's also the best midfielder in the world! That's the verdict of England legend Bryan Robson - and he should know....
In League One, the award goes to Bradford defender David Wetherall whose experience has been a key factor behind City's recent revival, whilst in League Two the player who topped the poll was Southend keeper Bart Griemink.
The Shrimpers suffered just one defeat in December, winning three games in the process, and that was due in no small part to the fact that Griemink kept four clean sheets - plus another one against Rushden on New Year's Day.

He has kept us in a few games last month and fully deserves the award.

thank you, however all i did was pester the crap out of people bhy re posting the links and making sure the topic re appeared at the top of the page. Big well done to all the voters but more importantly to Bart Gremink who thoroughly deserves the award

The great thing about this is that at the end of the season the players that one the monthly awards are then voted for the PFA player of the year

Fantastic result. Congratulations Bart. I'll be honest at first I was on here questioning his ability and judgement but over the past couple of months, he has made me eat a lot of humble pie, but when we're snatching 1-0 wins it makes the pie taste better, so well done Bart, hope you keep proving my early judegment of you wrong and make me look silly while keeping my club up near the top!
