Stopped the rot and clearly hasn't completely 'lost the dressing room'. A good day at the office.

That has to go down as a good result.

Let's be honest how many of us would have thought that coming off the back of us having conceded 11 in three games to go to Posh, who, IIRC, have not failed to score in any home game this season and keep a clean sheet has to be seen as an achievement, certainly something no other club has achieved this season, so far.

****ing ridiculous, Brown now needs to go. I've been a big fan of him ever since he took over but this takes the ****. He would rather draw 0-0 than win a game but concede in the game, i.e win 3-2. No width, no attacking threat bar Payne. Thompson is NOT a midfielder and we have a perfectly good one in Timlin on the bench. If Glen Rea was still here it wouldn't surprise me if he played up front. If we win this game its by luck not tactical genius. Prosser being outted is ridiculous too

Probably up there with being one of the most pathetic posts I have read on Shrimperzone!

Nothing whatsoever to do with Southend this week, but Swindon were 3-1 down at home to Crewe but came back to win 4-3. No lack of incident at their ground eh?

Very good vocal support today.

Was listening to BBC Cambridge on way home re, the game just played, Posh commentators, Posh Fans and others thought that the penalty given was not a penalty, or at least a very soft penalty.

When Bentley saved the penalty it was like we had just scored a goal.

A very good day out.

Snr.

If you watch it in slowmo, Thompson kicks the ball and doesn't even touch the player. A great dive by that player. Surprised PB never called him a cheat.

Just watched the highlights on sky and I'm hugely impressed with Bentley, after a few indifferent performances he looked back to his best today. Loved his nonchalant reaction to saving the pen, like he just expected to.:Worthy:

EDIT - Just watched the pen decision 5 times to prove to myself I'm not jumping to conclusions. Absolutely disgraceful decision, Thompson doesn't even touch him, thank goodness justice was done.

UTB, here's hoping that result has restored some confidence.:loyalsupporter:

This is my quote on the match ratings thread........Sounded on the radio that he was back to his brilliant best, not just the penalty.
