Francis has the potential to be a top, top fullback. He's got everything that you could want from a player in that position. Its just his head that seems to need straightening out. If he can learn to concentrate for 90 minutes then we'll have one hell of a player there. He's still only a kid.

Totally agree. All our signings this year, Francis, Clarke, Hammell, Paynter, Harrold, Hooper... they are all young players that can only get better with age and gain more experience. If we survive this season, which i think we will do, we'll have a far more competitive side next season that has the experience of The Championship needed to do well.

look clarke is a great c back but francis and hunt have come about as far as there going to get in this div and need replacing next season.

Wow, Francis is what 21 ? and yet has already reached the pinnacle of his career!

Players need to gain experience and develop, why is it that if a player comes to our club who isnt the finished article we want to dump them ?

By default due to the size of club we are we have to get players that arent at the top of their game and develop them.

If the opinion of the fans was the final word both JCR and Clarke would have been sold months ago and look how far each have come.

Francis has lots of positives and with time and experience hopefully can develop the mental side of his game.
