Can anybody else see PS leaving at the end of the season, i can because the dundee job is avaliable and because of his health, i can see him heading back to Scotland to re-join with his family, but thats just my opinon..

Yes I think you're right. Although I hope that even if we don't get out of L2 this season Ron will give him a new deal, I don't see a more astute manager taking this job and I'd be more than happy for Sturrock to stay. :thumbsup:

I think he's on a 12 month rolling contract, so he gets a new deal every day..:smile:
 
Oh no, not Tilson. He is at his level now at Canvey.Luggy is far better in my opinion,and would hate to see him leave.
 
as I've said in another post Steven Pressley is likely to get the Dundee United job. Ex player, done well as a rookie manager. PS would NEVER work for Dundee FC and I doubt if their fans would accept him. Barry Smith is bit of a God up there as well. Like my wife (a Dundonian), PS will appreciate the joys of the Essex Riviera (and of course one of the UKs biggest tartan/Highland shops is here in Essex in Ingatestone High Street) so what's the point of moving all that way.
 
I don't really think ahead to the future with such negativity. As it stands, no I can't see him leaving. Complete speculation. :piano:

Aside from anything else I'm pretty sure he's put down roots in the west country from his time at Plymouth. I thought thats where his family was anyway. Besides, the thought of growing old with failing health in Dundee is probably not that appealing. Somewhere warmer and drier would be far more likely!
 
RM has made it pretty clear that promotion is a necessity every season. Whilst Sturrocks first season in charge was difficult due to the huge changes in personnel and quality, I'm not sure whether he will be forgiven for a further two seasons passing without succeeding what I believe is his primary objective.

So I guess my view is that if he leaves at the end of the season, it wont be in connection to the Dundee role.
