I'm not defending Ron Martin or Geoff King, but people are assuming that Brush has fallen out with them. It's just possible he may have had a falling out with Tilly.

It's possible. I don't know Paul or Steve personally, but I'd have thought that the troubles that both of them have had to contend with in recent months would have brought them closer together rather than divided them.

We'll see. To me, it looks like a play to get rid of Tilson. I (think I) hope I'm wrong.

Many people say, and I agree, that we are 'too good to go down'.

I don't think many people are saying that, Ron. On paper we probably do have a squad now who are good enough to avoid relegation. Man for man I'd guess that there are at least four sides worse than us. But Paul Brush isn't the reason why we're struggling. For a huge part of the season we've not had the bodies in the squad and if we can't pay the ones that we do have then how can we hope to compete with sides who are fighting for their lives?

Relegation for the Club and it's supporters would be fatal
