I've gone from mildly disliking Wrexham due to their Hollywood owners to really liking them due to their fans continued response to our plight. I'm now following their progress with interest and I hope they achieve their dream of reaching the Premiership. (It will also remove one of the main obstacles to our own promotion hopes of course!)

As I was in the hospitality area yesterday the host there let me have a minute on the mic to thank the Wrexham fans for their help during our appeal (the outside presentation was too early for them to see it as the room only emptied a couple of mins before KO).

They were all sympathetic and concerned, got a few stories of their own troubles and actions before the arrival of Hollywood.

The sixth episode of the Wrexham TV show (titled Hamilton) was dedicated to the fan efforts to get Alex Hamilton out of the club. It's worth a watch because it shows how close to the brink Wrexham were under his ownership.
