This old git thinks it is just being realistic.

If the world was such a good place ,we would all be too wealthy to work , have superior German vehicles and a wife who looks much younger and is a goddess.

and SUFC would win every match.

Old people are a menace.

Its only recently that I saw a young spectator viciously assaulted by the flying false teeth of an older fan.

As a registered old git (nearly 50) and someone who has been following this team since 1968 I protest. We cant leap up and sing 'Stand up if you luv Southend' coz frankly some of us can barely stand up, thank god for Stanna stair lifts otherwise I'd be trapped downstairs in my house!

But I've ben coming here for nigh on 40 years and I luv the blues trust me, of course we moan and talk endlessly about Billy Best, Bill Garner et al, but we luv our team, and personally speaking I think in Tilly And Brush we have the best management team we've had here in a good long while.

So next time you knock into the old boy trying to get up the stairs to his seat remember he's a blues fan too.

Thats it rant over i'm off for a quick dose of sanotogen

While on the subject of moaning old gits (and im allowed this as I scrap into this catagory ........just) As I was walking up the steps on my way out saturday, two things happened in as many minutes which managed round off my feelings of p%&sed of ish nous. Firstly, some half pint runt leaped up and yelled out COME ON THEN!! to the celebrating MK fans. A simple ugly look and a SIT DOWN, ********!! seemed to do the trick and I continued on my way.

But just past the loos I get in my ear the rantings of another chavy prat, EASIER TO GET OUT WITHOUT ALL THE DAYTRIPPERS AINT IT. Sorry, did I say chav? I meant a 50 year old man in full scraf and replica shirt regailia who also shut up when questioned as to was it alright for me to come along as technically, I was a daytripper with a mere 3 games under the belt this season due to work committments.

Not just the U12's who get under your skin is it.
