Dont see this as a goal behind I see it as a seperate game. On recent form were as good as anyone and certainly at Roots Hall we have the ability to beat anyone as we have shown.

Not worried about Crewe. Let em come - Lets have a crack and see what happens. They showed Saturday then are nothing special we got through a lot of times towards the end and had one of the chances gone in we would all be buzzing now.

Thankfully we're starting from 0-0 in this individual game and don't have only 45 minutes to win it, but rather 90 (or 120 depending on scoreline).

Any statistics on coming back from a goal or two down are irrelevant in my opinion as the players won't be rocked by the situation, they've had enough time to get over it and we've got our game plan down to the tee I'm sure.

Spot on. This season we have won by more than 1 goal (i.e. enough to win this tie in 90 mins) on 16 occasions. We have also won by 1 goal (i.e. enough to take this into extra time) on a further 9 occasions.

If we take the regular season games and pretend it's one game with a half time in the middle, then apply it through the season, thereby taking each defeat that we suffered in the first game as being behind in the first half, we get the following

Crawley - first half 0-3, second half 0-0, result 0-3 LOSS
Burton - 0-1, 2-0, 2-1 WIN
Swindon - 0-2, 1-4, 1-6 LOSS
Cheltenham - 0-3, 4-0, 4-3 WIN
Bradford - 0-1, 0-2, 0-3 LOSS
Aldershot - 0-2, 0-1, 0-3 LOSS (obviously only the games that count)

Two wins, four defeats.

the important stats say win by 1 and its down to penalties, win by more than 1 and we are through, any other stats just occupy our time till 7.45pm on Wednesday and then we are back to 'must win' and don't care about anything else

But we weren't trying to win those games on aggregate.

We must get at them from the start, dont let them start there passing game, pressurise them all the time.An early goal for us will really test them.I'm nervous but i believe we can do it.
Just hope the crowd really gets behind the team, and doesnt start abusing certain players when they make mistakes.

I am actually glad we are 1 nil down in a way as had it been us with a one goal advantage I could se us trying to protect that for 90 mins. Stuff chewing down my nails I'd be down to my elbows!
At least we know we need to win so can go for it nothing to lose now!
