"Yours!...Mine...Eh? Hang on...Oh bugger!"

To be fair, the defender got a massive shove in the back. Disgrace of a decision, but symptomatic of every last thing going wrong / our being deliberately sabotaged this season.

Looking forward to chinning Becchetti. With a claw hammer. Can't post what I know about the fella as I wouldn't want to prejudice an ongoing investigation...

Most of us on here really don't want to see Orient go out of business, nor, in my case, out of FL2, though the latter isn't looking clever at the moment.

Ha, there is literally zero chance of our youth team kids and smattering of unpaid professionals of producing some sort of miracle turnaround. I'd be shocked if we picked up more than a point before the end of the season.

There is only one focus, and that is forcing the worst owner in the history of the Football League out of the club. He's literally worse than the guy who tried to burn down Doncaster's ground for the insurance money.

I understand your point (or lack of points!) but being the worst owner takes some doing; the convict who destroyed Darlington MUST be the worse? What happened to Rushden & Diamonds? Or the original Wimbledon people who sold out? How do these people pass FA "fit to own" tests?

There should be a compulsory purchase order law to protect clubs from these rogue chairman.

Interested to know how our resident Orient fan feels about Barry Hearn, as I believe he sold the club to Beccheti? He claims to care about the club, and did invest a great deal to keep them going, but clearly did not do the DD before handing over the keys in exchange for the £4mill or whatever he got for it?

I hear that Andrew Lloyd Webber is an Orient fan, can't you go and knock on his door and ask him to buy the club?

My condolences - I am being totally honest when I say the plight of Orient is a great shame.

- George "Safecracker" Reynolds bankrupted Darlo by building his ridiculous 27,000-seater vanity monument. Pretty bad.
- Rushden was a simple case of Max "Dr. Martens" Griggs deciding not to fund the club any more. The club was utterly unsustainable as a league outfit. They would never have enjoyed the success in the first place without him.
- Wimbledon owners were clueless at running the club, but sold it in good faith to Winkleman.

Reynolds vastly overreached himself, but never went so far as to deliberately dismantle and sabotage the club, nor has anyone attained the sheer weight of disgusting/borderline comical headlines as Toxic Frank in such a short space of time.

Cheers. It's a disgrace, frankly. Guy lives in a £22 million quid mansion but the club staff still aren't going to get paid tomorrow.

ALW is a plastic O (if there is such a thing). His brother Julian the Cellist travels all over to watch us, though. Imagine they will be making a donation to the LOFT regeneration fund should it come to it (LOFT have announced that there are a number of large donors waiting in the wings should the fans be needed to assume the running of the club).

As for Uncle Barry it's a mixed bag. Anyone with half a brain knew what the lizard was up to when he stole the ground. Have to say I never anticipated that I would ever come to the conclusion that it was actually beneficial to the club that we don't own it, but that's the state we're in now. Unbelievable. He's had pelters for selling it to Captain Charisma, but he was always going to take the cash from the first idiot to show up with the readies.

So are these people considered the LOFT extension?

As I said in the past, I don't have a problem with LO going out of the league. Someone has to get relegated and it might as well be you. But, I don't like the idea of any club going out of business, and for that I feel sorry for LO fans and staff.

My main worry, however, is that once this clown has been moved on, and you have a proper chairman you'll come back stronger. I'm not looking forward to that.

I also saw a tweet this morning from David Mooney. A LO fan has offered interest free loans to all the non-playing staff. That's one hell of a gesture. Well done him.

The biggest problem is fans don't help themselves. Had Beccheti tried to buy Southend instead of Orient then 90% of our fans would have supported the idea without knowing a single thing about his background or intensions. When you have those levels of naivety then you are open to abuse.

No idea, the league seem to turn a blind eye. You can add Portsmouth's many owners to the list and the present owner of Charlton.

Thing is, it's not the fans who make these decisions. There needs to be a code of conduct and criteria to which you need to meet in order to take over a football club. If Matchroom had done their DD they had surely known Beccheti was a wrong'un?

What exactly is Beccheti's intent? Hearn still owns Brisbane Road, so not to close the club down and build on the site, so why would you buy a failing club just to run them into the ground?

I have no idea about Beccheti's intent. The problem is, its easy money and if you provide a shocking service the same mugs will turn up next week. The huge increases in football money in the last 20 years means that owning a club can be a get rich quick scheme. So that will always attract conmen and shysters.

For some reason the modern fan wants a flash owner and a Manger who jumps up and down on the touch-line. I'm old school I think mangers should be seen (in the dugout) and not heard. Chairman should neither be seen nor heard.

I guess you haven't put this point of view to your pal.

Or have you had a falling out?

not making any accusations but I would have thought that given the amount of cash flowing in and out of a football club, it may be a half decent proposition for laundering.
