Quote[/b] (Jonny_Stokes @ July 21 2006,09:36)]these GCSE's don't just give themselves away you know...
You mean you actually have to PAY for them these days?

You're evidently not doing PHE or whatever they call 'games' these days, or you'd have jacked in the O's long ago, son.

Oh cripes - might as well clear this one up while I'm here. My GCSE comment was a response to Tony's "There's no school tomorrow though?" I'm not doing them really - I'm a thicko East Londoner who would have dropped out when I was 14, right?

Quote[/b] (Up the Shrimps @ July 20 2006,23:25)]Is anyone on here actually going to hang around after the final whistle for the chance of being filmed?

I wonder why this match?  The TV company must have wanted a match played in front of 3 empty stands.
3,000 tickets sold.
Official crowd today 2,450 with 343 away fans.

So did anyone stay behind? Were any of you filmed at half time or during the match?

I was doing the door at the Shrimpers today and spoke to one of the Harchester players/actors and asked him what the hell is it about the fans of the show and don't they know its not real. His reply was as we all suspected....their all totally weird and slightly deranged but he did also point out that it's also probably why they have made it to a 10th series. He seriously did look slightly embarrassed about it all

I stayed behind but there was no walk on roles for the fans.

They put us all in the east stand and some guys started some chants which were quite funny (after the O's fans had gone).

"Tilly out...Tilly out...Tilly out....."
biggrin.gif

Stayed behind purely 'cause I had nothing to do this afternoon. The staged 'game' was pap, but the chanting was great fun. Sadly this will likely be edited out...

As i was walking towards the turnstiles where the Shrimpers club is, before you go down the stairs, i started to watch a scene from Dream Team being shot.

As i stood and watched for a little while, one of the producers asked me if i wouldn't mind doing a walk on part with Harchester fans, i duely obliged.

Basically we done three takes and that just involved walking towards and into the turnstiles where the glass tunnel is situated. There was me and three other SUFC fans involved, plus some Harchester fans. Was quite interesting to see what goes on behind the scenes, and to be involved in shooting of a scene. They had a big SUFC flag near us too, in blue.

So i'll definetly look out for the prog and hopefully see myself on sky one

As for the game, thought it was good. We had the better of the second half. Orient just edged the first half.

Glad Eastwood scored, he needed a goal. It really looked like he couldn't buy a goal up until when he scored.

Thought Hooper took his goal well.

Tilly should deffo sign Mssassi, he looked good again, and very comfortable on the ball.

All in all a good day i thought.

The filming at half time was funny, did anyone else see Flav's act out how angry he was with his defenders at conceding a goal, maybe an Oscar will come calling Darryl

Up the Blues, and now looking forward to the season even more now!

Got my QPR tickets today before the game, so happy days!

at halftime, I loved the way Darryl totally dived out of the way of a weak shot and still managed to save it.

I spoke to Danny and Duncan from Dream Team in the bar afterwards and we spoke about the exact same thing.  There were a couple of fat birds in Harchester shirts and I was saying that didn't they realise it wasn't real!  Apparently they get stopped a lot by people who think Harchester are a real team.  Very odd!

I was right near you Tony - myself and Mrs CI-City Blue were asked to be filmed eating chips outside the ground, as we were both eating a bag of the Fish House's finest...

Wonder if they will include it...

(probably not, but it made the missus happy).
