We have the backbone of a good side that has come up, added with fantastic fighting spirits which got us win at Oxford & at home to Luton etc with 10 men's & never ever give up last minute goal Vs Wycombe when it's was 20 seconds left from staying in League 2!

I want PB to look & bring in right players, at least 5 who can really improve us. More players on loans will come later in Augs. As for Bury, both are paceless forward & both are earning almost 10k a week together, for a club who only get 3'900 crowds. They will only get 4'500 crowd ava. due to derbies match in Lancashire. We will get over 7k no problem. I am not panicking yet, I will be if we don't sign anyone by 20th July!!

Clarke was is a decent player at the level and will no doubt be added to the list of ex-shrimpers to score against us! Having said that you do have to consider if the money and the ball ache is really worth it. I mean the amount of clubs the guy has had is ridiculous and to give hima 3 year deal!? well i would be absolutely amazed if he saw that out.

It's a tricky one to consider with Bury as on one hand you have to admire the conviction and courage they are showing by going out and getting in some strong signings for this level, it's a good statement of intent. However as someone mentioned previously they have had money problems in the past and I would be worried that they haven't learnt their lesson. Also consider the fact that they had a very high wage bill in L2 last season and had they not gone up I wonder if that would have had repercussions?
