Breaking News OLDHAM game now ALL TICKET. No pay on the day - sales finish midnight Friday online

You had me worried with that post so I logged on to nationalleague.tv and it is showing as scheduled for streaming. My account was debited £22 odd the other day as well so I hope there are no last minute snags. Subject to the game actually being on of course!
It is certainly schduled for streaming but as I said there are currently no packages available for oveseas viwers to view.

It's certainly scheduled for streaming but as I said I can't find any details for packages on the NL site.Could be 'cause I've recently changed my C/C details.Glad to hear you've been debited and obviously hope the game's on too!

Protesting for the last few months hasn't had any effect on Ron Martin at all, can anybody explain to me what changes there have been, I can't seen anything. Money is the only thing that matters to him, not the little protests. I have come to believe that it is highly unlikely the club would go under (I could be wrong), he is too financially shrewd for that to happen unless he wanted it to. Three points are important as come to the end of the season and the club goes down by one or two points how will you feel then? Or a miracle happens and promotion is missed by a couple of points? SUFC is still going and make the most of it, don't turn your back on the players and staff by staying away, protest any other time but not during match time, and get behind them by cheering them on.

Click on 'packages' on the www.nationalleague.tv website, i.e. not the Vanarama National League website and it tells you what your current status is.

Oldham fans are desperate to play the game

'hi Phil, on Oldham website a message from Roots Hall saying safety certificate not in place. Anouncement will be made at 5pm Monday or sooner but not later if the game at Roots Hall will be played. hoping a resolution is found before 5pm we need the game to be played. fingers crossed for us both.
it really does not matter to us where the game is played so long as it is not cancelled'

Of course they do - any team playing us whilst we are under the embargo are likely to have a significant advantage versus teams that will play us later in the season, assuming we escape embargo and have a budget for some players

It’s this reason I’m surprised that the NL have not made decisions sooner. What you state is fact but it hardly helps maintain the integrity of the competition.
I’m glad they have given leniency though

Not surprised to read this, our fan base has so many Ostriches. Many have no interest or awareness of Shrimperzone, the Shrimpers Trust, or possibly even CRATE😉. Far too many don’t see what ‘all the fuss is about’ concerning Ron Martin, and seem bemused about protests, they are the types who chat inanely and sit on their hands during matches. One day they will pull their heads out of the sand and wonder where their club went.

We know that the protests have upset Ron especially his wife who is giving him a hard time about it. One of the big reasons he has put the club up for sale in the first place is because of the turn in fans turning on him in large numbers not buying season tickets. If everyone just continued to buy tickets he'd carry on as normal and pocket every last penny out of us supporters with a dire product in return. This should of actually happened years ago!!!!!

To be fair many of those people you are referring to are elderly and have been supporters for many years. They are not members of Shimperzone, or the Shrimpers Trust and have never heard of Crate, but have faithfully supported SUFC for many years and should not be ridiculed. I have a neighbour in his eighties who has been a ST for many years, mobility issues mean he has not bought another ST but will attend when he is able. He reads the Echo and that is his only source of information. He said to me "I see Mooney and Lomas are injured" - I updated him re their intention to leave but this is just one example of those supporters who do not fully realise the situation. They should not be described as "Ostriches" - they are valued supporters and the innocent victims of Ron Martin's tenure at our Club.

How did you find about Ron’s wife and how she feels and she is giving him a hard time thought this would be kept private do you know the family that well ?

Our ostriches are of all age groups. Many youngsters are turned off by ShrimperMoan, hundreds of fans, not much older older, do not have a clue what the Trust are, or do, and the inane dispassionate chatters I referred to are not all old codgers (like me).

He put the club up for sale long before the season ticket protest…
