Bit of context for those under retirement age. Back then as an entertainer you could be as flamboyant and camp as you liked but you could not admit to having same sex relationships or you wouldn’t work.

Great days indeed but thankfully society has moved on, we now have a very diverse mob at the Hall these days and all the better for it imo, still I did like giving it to the Brighton boys.

I always thought that this was a bit cavalier and potentially dangerous too. Surely, if one has had one's "****ing head kicked in" then one should be taken directly to the hospital rather than simply back home?
