OD - Week 9

We got our usual victory against Idlers although he has much improved his batting line-up recently.

Batting first on a H&F in the sun we made 314-2; Swayne 122 Last 109 Birkett 52*.

We skittled them for 160; 18yo Bowditch getting a 5fer making it 16 wickets this week for our up and coming bowler.

lost by 21 runs. 4 close defeats in a row now in OD and we've dropped from 2nd to 5th- in a relegation scrap now.
 
I lost fairly comfortably despite the ratings being almost identical. My lack of batting is costing me big time. Im now going to have to work hard to avoid an a relegation play-off as i could finish either 3rd, 4th or 5th! Will work out what games i need to win to survive. Have EVG next Friday so i shall be playing my stiffs and get a good 2 week spell on FC work going as my league is as tight as arseholes at the moment.
