OD - Week 8

Joke of a result. Their batting is worse than mine and has even less depth. Horrifying 70 run loss and that defeat has really screwed me over - especially after expanding my ground and was up to 6-9 members per update!

the dirty dogs General Stars
Top Order: masterful masterful
Middle Order: quality remarkable
Lower Order: abysmal mediocre
Seam Bowling: masterful miraculous
Spin Bowling: useless elite
Fielding: competent proficient

MOTM: Tracey

Unlucky there Kev, frustrating result.

We're giving it a go, but the top 3 scored too slowly and so ultimately this will end in a narrow defeat.

End of Over 47: 218-3, runrate=4.64, reqrunrate=11.67 (252-2)
Asielue 9-0-58-0
Rennie* 10 (4 balls)
Granville 26 (23 balls)
Last Wicket: Tsietsi c. Heggett b. Dickinson 92 (FOW: 206/3)

And that's the end of the match. Aquantra CC won by 8 runs.
Aquantra CC 252-2
Southend 244-4

Argh.

A good win away at the side competing with me for 4th spot.

The Xorbis made 253-3 batting first, we got to 254-4 in the 44th over. Good knocks from Bob Birkett 83, 'James' Last, 91 no and Cunningham 52 no. Swayne continues his retched form in OD this season, averaging barely 20 :stunned:

The Xorbis Southchurch Village CC
Top Order: strong quality
Middle Order: mediocre proficient
Lower Order: woeful abysmal
Seam Bowling: superb strong
Spin Bowling: mediocre wonderful
Fielding: feeble feeble
MOTM: Last

Got exquisite/exceptional bowler ratings today. Chuffed with that 4 pts behind leader who I play next week. He has NRR 39.1 to my 35.35. He is stronger than me but #1 in all three disciplines so this may work in my favour. I have one PFL worry with main bat who I will need in at least one 2020 next week. No bowling worries.

Expected 110 run defeat, at least we made three figures. Will now prioritise FC for the remainder of the season and settle for ma play off place in OD.

See you have one of my FC counterparts, currently placed second behind The Flying Ferrets. I am just chuffed to be in 3rd behind those two.

In OD I managed to take the Win against the only team to have beaten me in OD League this season. Must have been suffering from relegation blues as he does not seem to be doing to great.

won again. Looking increasingly like a promotion to IV for me this year- I'm 8 points clear in my OD league now, and 57th in the promotion table.
