OD - Week 4

End of Over 23: 126-2, runrate=5.48, reqrunrate=3.67 (224-4)
Deakin 5-0-21-2
Rahim* 57 (55 balls)
Jack 0 (0 balls)
Last Wicket: Blizzard lbw b. Deakin 19 (FOW: 126/2)

We have an open end now. Must restrict Rahim and take wickets at the other end, as they only need 99.

Made 241-4 and rattled them out for 74. A lot easier than expected given the ratings:

kings-of-spin ShrimperZone CC
Top Order: wonderful sensational
Middle Order: wonderful quality
Lower Order: mediocre woeful
Seam Bowling: exquisite elite
Spin Bowling: masterful elite
Fielding: respectable respectable

To have a double wonderful batting line up at 46-6 is pretty pleasing, especially as we were just normalling and away. More surprising is that Monkey Sloggers appear to be losing to Immortals so we could be clear top come tonight.

Lovely!

And that's the end of the match. Immortals won by 5 wickets.
monkey sloggers 142-10
Immortals 146-5

End of Over 33: 164-6, runrate=4.97, reqrunrate=3.59 (224-4)
Deakin 10-1-41-6
Rahim* 85 (87 balls)
Hatcher 4 (12 balls)
Last Wicket: Geldenhuys b. Deakin 0 (FOW: 146/6)

Deakin finishes a hopefully match-winning spell.

Making heavy weather of this. Changed my pitch to Uneven, think I might change it back to Green !

Bollix. Lost playing mostly reserves to a donkey of a team. Should have PiNed rather than TiE. This at least tells me a lesson and as top 4 won't be a problem i can forget long odds of promotion I'll just do enough and go all out for FC promotion.

Just as things were going well, i get spanked by 7 wickets! FFS!
