Another good day for me in my OD league. Im 8 points clear with 16 to play for and the next 3 teams are all 12 behind me (and that includes EGV & Bobby's side)! I restricted the oppo to 201-9 on a dusty pitch but on fine sunny day and would have taken that at half ten. I chased it down with about 10 overs left and the top 5 all got at least 30 runs with Sookram notching 61* after Deane and Waterhouse gave us a solid start.

OK ratings on a normal.

I strongly disagree General Stars
Top Order: masterful exquisite
Middle Order: strong remarkable
Lower Order: worthless mediocre
Seam Bowling: exceptional exquisite
Spin Bowling: phenomenal phenomenal
Fielding: competent respectable

MOTM: Sookram

Im now 7th in the promotion ladder, so as long as i keep on winning, i will be guaranteed a spot in Level II next season. Fitness seems okay and only Cook & Deane down at lively with the rest @ Invigorated +

played the league leaders on a GFI. bowled them out for 139 (Harmison running the show with 7-19 in 8 overs) and won by 9 wickets.

Played Woody's WOWers at home, a much better side but over whom I scored an upset against earlier in the season.

Bowling first they managed 270-1. We got to 176-2 through a good partnership between Bob Birkett (76) and Swayne (95*) and despite a late rally from Shashidhar at number 7 we were bowled out for 248.

Looking at the stats I'm pleased at how my side is performing against better skilled teams this season.
