Welcome to Level IV! Tons for Mario and Lamo and 7-13 from Suthers give us a tidy NRR boost. Roll on Sunday.

Mcghee and Singh went for £400k combined. Balance up to £5.2m, that 5th bowler gets nearer.....

Primus 10-0-59-2
Bayliss* 43 (36 balls)
Raven 32 (26 balls)

Last Wicket: Lamb c. Vincent b. Primus 64 (FOW: 171/5)

Pretty good score for my guys. Nice knocks from Lamb and Bayliss! In Level III. Who would have thought it!

And i had them at 20/3, however, its now looking rather in the balance!

End of Over 28: 124-3, runrate=4.43, reqrunrate=5.27 (239-5)

Mcclory* 66 (83 balls)

Last Wicket: Kewell st. Browne b. Guy 50 (FOW: 134/4)

Guy back on & takes a big wicket. Need him to follow it up now. The top side ended up winning, even though they got turned over for 110!

Napster's XI 364-2
The Batters 228-10

End of Over 42: 228-10, runrate=5.43
Moore 5-0-30-2
Wilkey* 75 (77 balls)

41.4 W Moore to Birchall
That's an absolute peach of a delivery, finds the edge, and Back takes it at the second attempt.
41.3 W Moore to Chukwu
Gone! Good ball on the stumps, Chukwu trying to defend to the on side, misses the line of the ball and gets hit on the pad in line with the stumps. A loud appeal and given.

End of Over 43: 200-5, runrate=4.65, reqrunrate=5.71 (239-5)
Raven 7-1-30-4
Burton* 11 (9 balls)

Last Wicket: Verde lbw b. Raven 21 (FOW: 177/5)

Going to need wickets from Raven and the new boy!

45.1 W Johnson to Mcclory
This could be tight... except for a direct hit by Jackman, which leaves Mcclory well short of the crease. Fine bit of fielding.

End of Over 45: 207-8, runrate=4.60, reqrunrate=6.60 (239-5)
Raven 8-1-32-7
Mcclory* 108 (121 balls)
Hatch 0 (0 balls)

Last Wicket: Hammond b. Raven 0 (FOW: 207/8)

44.6 W Raven to Hammond
Oh dear, bowled by a full toss, that should really have been given the treatment.
44.5 W Raven to Deakin
Yorked him! Aimed right at his toes and middle stump lies flat as Deakin starts the long walk back.
44.4 W Raven to Burton
Burton thought he could send that delivery off Raven sailing to the ropes but found himself becalmed after missing the boat completely. Browne completes a simple stumping.

GET IN!!

And that's the end of the match. General Stars won by 32 runs.
General Stars 239-5
Glory Gardens 207-10

End of Over 46: 207-10, runrate=4.50
Johnson 7-1-25-1
Hatch* 0 (0 balls)

45.2 W Johnson to Primus
Pitched on middle, stayed on middle and was going to hit middle. Not the toughest decision in the book.

5 balls. 5 wickets.

Thank you! Good night!

General Stars won the toss and elected to bat.
Reporter's Summary
General Stars
Top Order: quality
Middle Order: remarkable
Lower Order: mediocre
Seam Bowling: masterful
Spin Bowling: sensational
Fielding: competent

MOTM: Raven

Thanks BB! Masterful. Get me!

Oooh, that was career best figure for Suthers today. His career average is now down to 15.75 which is not bad considering it was over 100 when I first bought him due to his intensive training.

Looking at the bowling market at the moment, not sure I'm going to get much better than remarkable with my estimated £6m.

Must....resist....temptation....to....sell....a....batsman...... :)
