Yes, this has infuriated me. Clearly as the biggest team in L1, we would draw a massive TV audience and allow SKY to gain huge advertising revenue. Therefore all our games would be more popular than any involving Leeds, Charlton, Norwich, Southampton, Millwall etc and as such we have a divine right to be on the box. Not just on an odd Friday night, but every weekend. I shall write to Rupert Murdoch forthwith demanding we get Southend United TV in place before the big match vs Huddersfield.

On a more serious note - this is a regular debate - we have to remember we are eyed by those that make decisions as a fair to middling league one side, at best, and as such our expectations of media coverage is far too high. In a nutshell, no one without any links to the team or town have much interest in us. (except Orient fans who still regard us as their cup final).

I just hope there is still a regular BLW2 style programme on Sky and a goals round-up on the BBC of ALL divisions, not just The CCC.

Everytime the TV deal changes I worry we'll lose that regular chance to see each games goals. Do Virgin Media still have the online rights and has anybody heard if the Blues World replacement is not run by FLPTV?

Yes stupidness is certainly a word, albeit a rarely used one. I think it's correct usage would relate to a single act of stupidity rather than generalised stupidity.
