No mention of Southend Manor?

Away to Basildon United, tidy local derby! Not gonna lie, I am a non-league convert and follow Bowers home and away (when I can). The whole experience from start to finish is so much more enjoyable than league football. Even went on the coach with the team and staff to Wroxham the other week and it was first class! Can't wait for GWR away on Boxing Day, hoping we deal them the knock-out blow. Bowers are a very very good side and in the hunt for back to back promotions, getting up the to Ryman prem. would be an absolute dream!

Gutted I can't go to Oldham on Saturday, it's such a lovely place. Joking aside, I had planned to go as living in Birmingham it isn't too far to travel. But "apparently" going to see the family in Thurrock is more important!?

If I was to go..... East Thurrock would be my pick of the bunch!.... Does anyone know if they have the option of Onions in their burgers?... It's a bit of a deal breaker for me!!

This is all very interesting but you know the only place you really want to be at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday is Oldham .....

.... so stop the excuses and dilly-dallying and book the coach tomorrow.

Would it not be better for SZ to encourage more to travel to Oldham and support our boys first before other clubs???

Just can't get excited for any other local club, rather plough the wife and that's saying something

Any Shrimpers not travelling to the coldest football ground in the League why not get your fix from local non-league football.

Rather than being dragged out Christmas shopping, give your better halves loads of money and visit the local clubs and enjoy burgers with onions and Bovril at clubs like Great Wakering Rovers, Maldon and Tiptree, Bowers and Pitsea or Burnham Ramblers, to name a few.

I am sure all local clubs would be only too pleased with the added income and you might spot a future SUFC player.

Santa hats optional.

You are so right about Ice Station Zebra. Went there in late April one season - was freezing. Pub near it was good though...
