I would pick kalala over grant every time, twice the holding player grant is and for whatever reasons grant has been pretty gash this season

Agreed. Especially away from home, JP has to be a shoe in everytime.

Assuming Flood isn't signed in time. I'd like to see us line up like this.

Morris

Clohessy Phillips Barker Prosser

Hall JPK Timlin Martin

Dicko Sampson

However, I expect to see Gilbert at LB but a man can wish cant he?!

I know Grant hasn't been at his best lately, but still a better player than Kalala, who for me is average he may win a few tackles but then he gives the ball away a lot. Grant even when not playing well still wins a lot of free kicks and decisions for the team he covers other position well also when teams break on us from our corners you see him filling right\left back when needed and i think he uses the ball better (although can be guilty of giving it away cheaply at times).

Overall it's all about opinions and they are both ok midfielders for this league.

A game between the team with the best away record ( 8 wins ) at the team with the worst home record ( 1 win ). We should romp it, their again it has banana skin written all over it. I'm going for a 1-1 draw, break our duck on away draws, both teams to get something out of the game, with us being more disappointed at only 1 point. The game is more than winnable though and the first twenty minutes is crucial, if we can start on the front foot and get in front we could win at a canter.

Morris
Clohessy - Phillips - Barker - Gilbert
Hall - Kalala - Timlin - Martin
Harris - Dickinson

subs Bentley - Mohsni - Grant - Flood - Sampson

Benyon not to be risked with the depth we have now. We must have a sub keeper tomorrow so Grant edges Ferdinand on the bench and Sturrock really is just back up now, so drops out for the two new strikers. Scorer Hall, crowd of 5750 with a 1000 blues.

So where are people going for pre game drinks?, only heard TGI's so far.

The Tavern is a home pub, but the bowling alley has a bar which a few shrimpers have a drink in pre match, not proper pub material but fine for a pint. The ground is in such a rubbish part of town, miles from anything decent!

I would expect us to start with the same XI as last week. Maybe Bilel coming in if Phillips or Barker aren't match fit. Sampson to come off the bench later on.

Morris

Clohessy Phillips Barker Gilbert

Hall Timlin Kalalalala Martin

Dicko Benyon

I think our tails are up at the moment, Imo Northampton are going to kop it ,so 4 0 to Blues with the goals shared around as always.

I make you 100% correct. Personally Granty whilst not in the form he has shown is still a class above Kalala for me. I appreciate Kalala allows Timlin more freedom but I also feel he gives the ball away.

Grantys ability to "win" free kicks is also very handy given the fact that we have probably the best crossed in L2 in Hall. Given that out last two signings have been big target men type players I think getting the ball in the box will be imperative in the second half of the season.

Where abouts is the bowling alley?
