Also I don't know why they don't offer more blocks + the south lower, these blocks will go in days i reckon just from people who normally sit elsewhere & not the general public.

Are you having a laugh? 10,000 + for this game lol . Yes the club may want 10,000+ as i would like us to murder chelsea man city and utd every week, but it really isnt going to happen.

If we get 6000+ i will be amazed. Crawley will bring 300 max as its on tv and there a two bob club. Those of us who are casual fans will stay in and watch it on telly for free instead of paying £21 and i dont blame them.

Im going for a gate of just 5500 odd to watch us huff and puff and ultimately get turned over by yet another rival.

Thats why the club are selling £5 tickets to try and tempt people that would have watched it on TV and its worked I know 2 extra people who are coming now that were going to watch on TV.

Mind you we didn't get 10,000 crowd when the whole ground was £5 so I agree a crowd of 5,500 to 6,000 will be a good turnout.
 
I think they will pull out all the stops to get a bumper crowd. The numbers of 5500 is an average gate. I think there will be a bumper crowd because they are going to put deals on to get the fans in supporting the team, crawly away following in the league hasnt been to bad so id imagine they will sell 400-500.
It would be nice to have 7000+ but i think the club are looking for a big crowd

Crawley away average is about 300 cant see them bringing 400 - 500. Also really we should only be charging Crawley fans £5 to get in the North Bank but as far as I can tell they have got to pay full price to sit in the same stand.

Yep just checked Crawley web site they have got to pay full price for this match. I would not be happy knowing home fans have only paid £5 to sit in the same stand. If it was another part of the ground like say the South Lower only then thats fair enough but not in the same stand.

Yep agree with this. Going to get my £5 tickets this morning will see how many have been sold so far.

On second thoughts I won't ask how many have been sold, for one the ticket office just seem to pick random numbers out of the air to shut people up and also it will start another 'does that include season ticket holders' mass debate.

Are there not Football League regulations to prevent disparity between home and away charges for like for like accommodation ? You can't get more like for like than the same stand. After the reaction to the Aldershot fiasco, I suspect they would be more than a few not happy with this if roles were reversed.
 
I think they are also doing this so the cameras don't show 3/4 of a stand completely empty.

Also if they can do it for this game , why not others till the end of the season.
