The last thing we need is to win the next 3 games. We would surely lose PB when the January round of sackings begin in the Championship.

He must have learnt his lesson from last time. Not going to turn down a big pay day only to be abused by his own 'so called' fans the next game.

Your so much better to read when you aren't digging for dirty worms...

With Posh winning tonight, it means that unless the Posh fixture is rearranged before the Bolton home game then Blues have four of the next five games at home! Just the Swindon away game sandwiched between two consecutive home games, the last two being Rochdale and Bolton.

With so many home games approaching, doing well against Wombles and Charlton,i can foresee Roots Hall really rocking, and becoming over crowded. Its great ,wish i could be there to be a part of it, but will be there in spirit (Wild Turkey,Jack daniels ).happy Xmas and a merry new year to all,

So Matt48, tell me, what does the text in bold mean?

So it looks like Cox will be back for the next game and I would therefore expect him to be up front with Fortune. That's not a bad pairing. McGlashan and Hines on the bench as attacking options.

Hopeful of a point and possibly all three with that set up.

Should be a close match. It could come down to who has had the most Christmas pud.

Could well be down to that; & who has, over the "rest period" the mental strength & focus to be prepared for 1pm Boxing Day.
I am hoping our guys, from ball boys to boardroom recognise that the next few weeks COULD be a cracker of a festival of points: AND that the Wombles just relax, drink and eat as they are over achieving.
Nothing less than 3 points for the Shrimpers .......................please.

Honest answer, what's your opinion of Tyrone Barnett's (think that's his name!) contribution to date?.

Tyrone looked crap but has contributed recently, a good fourth choice behind Lyle Elliott and Poleon. So he has potential. We are happy top half is over achieving and ahead of Oxford Bristol R and Northampton, we came up together and we are the weakest link!!!

So three points in the bag so far.

I notice a few teams are playing on Friday rather than the Saturday - that includes Rochdale (who keep on winning and scoring) and Millwall (who could be equal on points with us if they win).

Bradford are at home to Bury and Peterborough are at home to the very sad Coventry (they must be due a result at some time surely?).

Big three games. Last year in this period we got spanked by sides, lost all three as well. If this side is serious, the first steps to righting the wrong of last season is the next three games.
