New To The Pub - It's Metal Monday (Part 1)

Old Pantera (pre Cowboys From Hell) was a bit gay!

:hilarious:

Wholeheartedly approve of this - I've got no time for Alice in Chains however, so I'll be looking foward to next week...

Missed this thread last week during my move to Canada.

Alice in Chains were great, though this isn't one of my fave tunes by them. Dirt was a good album, but not as good as Facelift imo!!

Layne Staley RIP!!

Good work, that man. There's been a serious lack of metal here for some time. Are Alice in Chains strictly metal though, I thought they were more grungey?

Looking forward to some Iron Maiden in weeks to come, preferably anything off the majestic eponymous album which is still their best work and still listenable even now.

Gay, Scott? Gay? If the opening 30 seconds of Run To The Hills is gay, then butter my up buttocks and call me Justin.

for me Alice In Chains aren't strictly metal but have songs that are more metal than 'grunge' and vice versa so didn't see any reason not to have them in my 'feature'

Some Iron Maiden, you got it!

Do you have anything by The Stylistics in that collection Al?

:finger: :p
