New Stadium Video

Erm probably because the actual ground has yet to be built though. Would be nice to see a finished view from in the ground as the pitcures of inside the other day looked pants without seats etc

I don't know what the onjectors are moaning about, I watched the video and there was no car congestion to speak of.

Hoorah !

Am I missing something? Shouldn't there be a view of inside the ground, where it actually matters?

Yep there should be, but as the 'still' images of the stadium were only released the other week prehaps they are still working on it (or not!).

Club has been a bit quiet on the internal views of the stadium and even though the gradient of the seats look shallow, we have been advised that they are the steepest allowed. The same with the comments that the seats would be closer than at Roots Hall, how?? On the internal images the pitch is further away from the front row.

I'm all for the new stadium, but with the expected delays I wonder if the ground will actually look like this if it ever gets built.

The only thing I am really concerned about is how far the fans are away from the pitch. If it's similar to behind the goals at The Emirates and The Ricoh there should be a full stewards enquiry before we go ahead. I also feel that there should be some open air area where people can go for a smoke at half-time if they wish.

Whats PTV, anyone?

Premium TV (PTV) is a specialist digital rights company that generates revenue for sports, entertainment and publishing companies through the production, delivery, management and syndication of broadband and mobile content. They host and manages Internet sites, broadband subscription products and mobile services for entertainment and sports companies, including the official website of Southend United FC.

In short (and in MY opinion) they fleece the club of much-needed revenue that could otherwise be generated via an independent website. In my opinion.

Thankyou for that Xabia Shrimper.

"PTV to put it out as a free for all".

Does that mean I can see things on Blues World for free? Or have I got the total wrong end of the stick here..

No. Blues World is a subscription service, restricted to those who subscribe. Scriv was suggesting that, after a brief period as restricted material, the stadium video would be made available to everyone.
