This is the picture the club tweeted earlier:
New scoreboard in place. Work underway now to get it all connected up and running in time for the weekend's game.

New Scoreboard.jpg

It can't just be me that think it looks ridiculously small?... :nope:

It's hardly a jumbotron is it! Was looking forward to not having to time the halves anymore but I'd be surprised if I can even SEE the match clock from East Blacks!

**** the bed, somebody's been on eBay and bought two Alba 32" tvs and stuck them together.

TINPOT.

'king hell.

Blimey you lot, the club has put in a new scoreboard and you're STILL moaning! Lighten up, why would they want to spend loads of money on something that's temporary at best? Personally, I applaud the idea of spending enough but not going over the top, a lesson that maybe should be appreciated more considering our finances?

I'll second that. If we don't have a scoreboard, people moan. When we do get a scoreboard, people moan. Plus, it looks like the advertising is probably paying for it, so good job, I say.

Does look tiny but I suppose its better than nothing. More importantly for me is I hope that scaffolding is moved quickly as remember when it was there for ages? I hated that.

its diffcicult to measure because the lens has put a curve/slope on everything, but my 'heath robinson' calculation with a ruler on my screen puts it at 9'' 5' wide but around 22 inches high

As it's about 2/5 of the length of the goal and just under a quarter of the height, I'd say you're not far wrong.

It looks unimpressive, but better than no scoreboard, just.
