Curious (I might have missed this though)... how is the sponsors logo not good? Is it not straight? Are there air bubbles? Are they coming off?
Not normally, in most cases they prefer folks to enter via shop and exit by T.O.Do you have to go through the ticket office to access the shop? Just went to get the new shirt and the front door was locked.
The ref wore black for the Norwich U23 friendly, not clever.Any news on a third strip, any gossip on if there will be one from the MTB day?
I don't know the NL club strips so I can't guess if there could be colour clashes with an opponent having blue and white mix or stripe kit? Although that would seem unlikely with our very dark blue.
I presume refs won't wear black for our home games?
We were in there last week and in addition to replica shirts there is a selection of training kit, various rain jackets, polo shirts, some heavier weight puffa coats and a few T shirts. I have to say that their sizing was pretty much on the small size.
Thanks for the heads up Matty . Although if the goods are faulty, then they have no choice.FYI, in case it hasn't been mentioned already. The club shop don't do refunds and they don't do exchanges. Crazy business but just a little warning to everyone.
You'd think so wouldn't you but no, they literally will not do it. You need to do it all online, I'm not even sure how legal that is lol. It does technically say it all online under their policy section but still, what shop doesn't do these basic things. Thanks for the heads up Matty . Although if the goods are faulty, then they have no choice.
I noticed we had white socks yesterday but i didnt think the kit clashed with the ref. I also thought leagues had to sign off on kits before the season just in case there was a potential clash with the referees. I know in the Prem and EFL it isnt such an issue as refs wear colours to ensure no clash but it would seem an oversight on potentially both sides if that is the caseSo I see already we’ve had to adopt white socks to the home kit because it seems the referees at this level wear black or black!
If that is in the leagues constitution that the officials have to wear black then it’s a big oversight from us to have a dark blue kit. Evening games are going to be a terrible kit clash. Maybe this year would have actually been a good one to revisit royal blue.
yesterday was good early autumn bright, not winter dim, under lights or in , colour darkening rain.I noticed we had white socks yesterday but i didnt think the kit clashed with the ref. With the sleeves and inclement weather a long white or grey sleeved under shirt may help, if allowed. Murphy had a long sleeve blue vest under his shirt yesterday.Much (much!) preferred the white socks myself. Had to be due to kit clash concerns though, night games or as winter closes in our kit will look almost black.
Not allowed to wear under shirts a different colour to the main shirt colour. With the sleeves and inclement weather a long white or grey sleeved under shirt may help, if allowed. Murphy had a long sleeve blue vest under his shirt yesterday.
Although a white sleeve would have been same a Wrexham's white sleeves?
Long sleeves are becoming obsolete. Everyone just wears a base layer.I prefer the blue to be fair, I thought it gave a better balance with the stripy sleeves on the shirt. Do we have a long sleeved version of the home kit? If so those stripes/ ziz zags all the way down to the wrist are going to look horrendous.
