What shirt colours do you prefer both Home and away

Other than the 2006/07 shirt, we really did have some god awful kits from Nike.
Controversial, but I think that's harsh! Yes they were all templates, and there were some god awful ones in there, but it was a 17 year partnership and I think there some great shirts along the way.

I may have been a little, controversial as you say.. I just can’t remember many that I really liked other than the championship season home and away shirt. The 16/17 shirt was decent as well to be fair.

Definitely inspired by the likes of Pollock as someone said but I like the rubbish they stick in the Tate Modern so I'm a fan of it.

Edit: Or at least I was until I saw the back of it, why would you stick a jarring black block on the back of something so inspired by abstract art?

I am fairly certain there are rules as to where the number is put. You cant have striped backs etc. Most teams nowadays who wear stripes or similar have plain backs for this reason..

In the good old days they just sewed a nice big rectangle of cloth on the back of the shirt to affix the numbers to.

And with reference to that aforementioned Spurs' abortion, I am of the belief that when clubs started to sport such abominations (first the goalkeepers and then the whole team) it marked the tipping point of football moving from being a largely grassroots activity centred on a local community to falling into the hands of the corporate prawn sandwich brigade.

Yep, most shirts nowadays are aimed at the instagram generation!!

I must say I don't mind designs that are a bit different though.

All the criticism about how the club launch kits, surprising the fans by launching during a friendly game is up there with one of the best ways to do it IMO

Hopefully, they are wearing it, and are warming up in the new training wear. they could launch the whole catalogue in one night

No great suprise although given Watchlotto was a multi-year deal what's happened there? Did they have a relegation clause?
It was a minimum 2 season deal, however you got to their website and no one has seemed to win anything since last year, wouldn't be surprised if it was just an underwhelming company to be sponsored by and Southend cut the deal.
