He says 'to his knowledge' we are still Hummel, yet a few posts back he told someone on here he has already seen the kits? Hmmm........#callmesherlock

Macron makes some really nice kits

But like Hummel, their template kits are trash.

I'd rather go back to Nike if we are going back to template kits. at least they fit well and don't fall apart

Also, Like our club shop, https://www.retailsportssystems.co.uk/ these guys do the Millwall club shop (Macron)

So could be something in that.

I don't think they run the shop or would have anything to do with our kit supplier. Retail Sports Systems are a POS and e-commerce solutions company.

I think our shop is currently run by a company called Elite Group UK. It is they through whom we got the Hummel gear, as they have exclusive brand partnership with Hummel in the UK. Through that brand partnership, Elite Group manage all aspects of design, supply chain and logistics for professional clubs in the UK who have Hummel gear. Just Sport ran a similar model where they also ran the club shop separately and controlled stock, but rather than an exclusive brand partnership with Hummel for bespoke kits they were instead one of a host of companies in the country who had deals for Nike Teamwear and Avec Sunday League-standard gear.

So if there has been a collapse in the relationship, it will likely be with Elite Group and will probably result in another changeover in the club shop. I wonder if that is why Kenny has moved to Cambridge's new store.

We have a couple of last season's kits. Worn plenty of times. They fit absolutely fine and haven't 'fallen apart'. What happened to yours?

Likewise. I purchased both the home and away kit at the beginning of last season, worn both plenty of times and have even started to wear them whilst playing 7 a side over the last couple of months and both still haven’t “fallen apart”.

Having seen the new Birmingham Shirt, I wouldn’t have minded that in two tone Navy, so they can do bespoke, but I’m guessing it’s down to volumes.

With practically the whole online store in sale, I wouldn’t be surprised if we were changing

That's not good, but does that mean it's falling apart? A bit OTT.

Again, our shirts have been worn a lot and washed a lot and all is as new. We don't have tracksuit tops though.
Don't get me wrong, I love the kits made by Hummel! Probably my favourite of all time. But if we are going to have template kits I'd rather have Nike. their template stuff is nicer than Macron and Hummel regardless of the logo situation.

If I had a choice

Bespoke Hummel or Macron > Nike Template

Template Hummel or Macron < Nike Template

Quite frankly it doesn't really matter a damn what company makes the kit or what it looks like. Last year we had a kit that many on here seemed to think was the best for decades but it didn't stop the team from being completely inept and suffer a second ignominious relegation. Equally, many hold the old "vomit stain" shirt in high regard yet that was a "double relegation" number too.

As long as the team is competitive and plays a bit of entertaining stuff next season, nudging the top of the table I don't care if they are all running around in matching potato sacks with holes cut out for arms and head.

To be honest that means nothing. We know from the store manager that a kit has definitely been decided on, but if there are some contractual issues there then some social media lad probably won't have a clue about what's going on in the background.
