Especially as it was used by the Premier League to buy the support and compliance of the National League Board in the argument around the scrapping of FA Cup replays.

Was going to say this is clearly a result of National League and Premier League directors kissing each others ***es and not caring about the clubs or the fans, or the integrity of the NL and FA Cup.

Confirmation on the BBC that we opted out (along with Barnet, Eastleigh and Solihull). I wonder if the other clubs knew that was an option or if we were the only 4 brave enough to put our feet down?

Isn't the Solihiull chairman on it? The daggers guy is, so when they were entered as a replacement he couldn't really say no, lol.

So is this due to our small playing squad? All the gate receipts go to the national league team so missing out on revenue .. 16 teams in our league seem to like the idea …

It will cost us more to put the match on than we would receive in gate receipts. I doubt many would be interested in seeing this pointless competition, organised for PL clubs' benefit.

So pleased we’re not pandering to the Premiersh***. They ruined the JPT competition and now they’re inventing another spurious competition for their own ends. The sooner the PL implodes the better.
