But to drop AB for Sodje when AB didnt do much wrong is his last game and Sodje hasnt played much isnt really Tilly IMHO.

wilson is so under rated. i went to every home game and 75 percent away games last season and in them games, wilson was our most consistant player. he often goes unnoticed as he does nothing spectacular so he is not a fans favourite but he defended very well last season and a think he should keep the left back position and deserves a crack at championship level as he played his part in our promotion. unless he starts playing badly of which hammell comes in

Maybe an over reaction there Alex but I tend to agree. Che IS under rated and IMO not that fair behind Hammel. Che is by far the better defender and possibly a better option away from home

We all like Che. He worked hard and did a solid job for us when it was painfully obvious for all to see that he was playing out of position. But Hammell is in a different league. You only have to look at how well Mark Gower has started the season to see what having a proper left-back has brought to the side.

I agree with Beefy.

I actually find it quite amusing that we did manage back to back promotions without a left back playing at left back or a right winger playing right wing.

The jury's still out for most on JCR but surely it's fair to say that Hammell has made a huge positive impact on the team. The only advantage Che has over him, I feel, is that he wins more in the air but at this level, that's more a bonus than a necessity. On top of that, he has the bonus of set piece delivery which has already looked dangerous at times this season and if nothing else gives us a left-footed option in our right-foot dominated team.
