2 years ago i got 10 out of 10 on the football fixed odds and picked up £1453 for my £5 stake! Boosted my spending money for my Australia trip a fortnight later nicely.

For those of you who haven't seen them, you get given 20 games in 4 blocks of 5 and put £1 on. If you pick the first 5 results correctly, you win minimum £5, the first 10 results correctly, minimum of £1000, first 15 results correctly, minimum of £100,000... If you pick all 20 results correctly, you win £1m.

When Fulham beat Liverpool towards the end of last season, they cost me just over £143,500. I didn't even win a ****ing fiver as it was in the first block of games.

Interestingly though people I cannot stress the importance to shop around if your going to do a bet like mine had I got to William hill my return would have been over a grand yes a GRAND less!

Speaking of William hill - I have accounts with every on-line bookmakers and I am yet to have a bet where there odds were best!

Uxbridge though I do find Ladbrokes very good on price.

My shirt number for my football team is 15 and every year I make my dad put a tenner on the number 15 horse in the Grand National and this year he couldn't be bothered to and he said it's 100 to 1 its hardy going to win and I kept nagging him but he wouldn't. So who goes and wins the Grand National this year at 100-1, Mon Mome with number 15!
