Must sign 3 out of the 5 loanees

Simple really , reality is we won't sign all the players we have on loan but 3 would be superb and i would have them in this order

Sawyer - may struggle to sign him , Championship class
Harding - Think we'll get him and a very solid pro , great signing hopefully
Christophe - think we'll get him too , looks strong , pacey and wins lots of scrappy balls and can play too.
GK - Not sure , not going to get carried away on one performance but looked solid.
Kanu - No - Got a feeling we won't get him , as reading are in the championship and feel he may win himself back into Coppels plans .

Sorry but dont think we have a chance with any of them. All too expensive either with transfer fees or wages. Think January will be another busy transfer window.

Would like all 5 to be here

But Federci will probaly take over when reading keeper gets a bit older Not sure of Hanemans age but I think its 30 somethings.

Sawyer seems to like it here so Im hopeful but he seems a really good talent and something chelsea could develop.

Hardling Christophe and Kanu might be the most likely ones but were not that rich so we probaly wont get any on a perm basis.

Realistically, Harding is the most important one for us as we simply don't have adequate cover defensively. He's also the most feasible imo as I think all the others still feature too much in their own clubs' plans.

With fat Frank, Ballack, Deco, Essien (when fit) and the new Brazillian Scolari signed yesterday, I think that Sawyer may well be surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge.

Don't think Sawyer or Christophe will get anywhere near there first teams , superb at our standard but breaking into the chelsea side will take a miracle and the portsmouth midfield are decent too .

Currently there's more chance of Sawyer signing than Harding to be honest.

I'd certainly expect Sawyer to be here for the season at least. Suppose things could change after Christmas though.

if only Harry ... he'd certainly cost as much as Mike Marsh (ie our most expensive signing)

of that list i feel Harding is the only one we'd have a chance of keeping

On Sky Text at the moment it's quoting as a headline "Southend triple transfer on"......

I didn't say that signing Lee Sawyer wouldn't cost, I just think he maybe the likeliest signing for us. Harding is probably the next best bet IMO, but that will depend on how much Ipswich will want for him.

At the end of the day , winning breeds good spirit and Roots hall and training will be a happy place for the players , carry on the good run and yes players will want to be a part of that , and with them being young they may only be on hundreds of pounds as a first year pro , so a chance of a 3 year 2.5 k pw deal plus 25 k signing on fee may sway them slighty .

Harding is not getting any younger and you can't knock a signing on fee in the face at this stage of his career , so we have chances with all of them i feel .

Highlighted are players that I think we should look at getting in on a permanent, based on the performance today.

I like Christophe, good, solid defensive player in the middle, would allow Macca his freedom once back to full fitness. For me it'd be him or Sawyer if the wish list was possible, Federici and Harding I'd take at the first chance if we could, and HRK has impressed me more this time than last season. They're all good signings, T&B have done it again despite all the doubts.

Harding, Federici and Sawyer are all out of contract at their respective clubs in the summer. I think Kanu may be too. Harding is the most realistic. Sawyer will not get in at Chelsea, there are better players than him in their youth ranks. Buying out his contract there and offering him a deal with a release fee clause if a premier league team comes in for him could be feasible. If i was Tilly i'd be on the phone with Scolari right now trying to sort out some sort of permanent deal. Federici may choose first team football at a different championship side to Reading when his contract ends, if we get up i think it's a realistic target. Kanu may well move on and try and impress coppell at Championship level with Reading or somewhere else to try and earn himself a new deal there. Christophe will not be leaving Pompey anytime soon permamantently as apparently Redknapp really rates him and wants to try and make him a very solid defensive midfielder and look to give him first team places down there next season.

I've heard simillar. Sawyer is fairly local and now has a family to think of. He will not play at Chelsea. I had a quick word with Harding after Hereford and he said he'd see what came up in January so who knows.
