Zone Update Multiple User Accounts

A small minority of users on the Zone have registered more than one concurrent user name, and thus have had multiple accounts. Please be aware that this is against ShrimperZone rules and the Mod team are always aware when these users register. We do monitor what is going on and we take a variety of actions to regularise the situation. This can involve a warning message to the user concerned, banning a user from a particular thread, or a total ban from the site.

Disappointingly, we still get those that continue to re-register when they already have an active user name, and to those, we say please stop it, it's not clever, it's a waste of the mod team time and often it's clearly obvious to other users.

In some cases they create a new account because they have annoyed ITK posters and then want to find stuff out after regretting it

Murkey Mouse and then his second account was excellent. I loved the continual denying that he was originally Murkey, despite the overwhelming evidence that he was.
