Very good pics Jam Man, interesting pics particularly of Mark Wright's errr........bottom....and associated areas (if you get my drift!) :winking:  Thought it was bloody good considering the weather of late, enjoyed it all and glad to see players entering into the spirit with the stocks, though it made them very late for the signings!

Benno and Juppy looked a dream team at the back at one time for the legends.

My missus made me take pictures of him. I felt dirty doing so.

Was great seeing Jupp and Bentley in particular. The response the players gave Tilly when he came on was great, you could see how highly they regard him.

Thank you Mrs Jam Man :winking: & Mr Jam Man for the pics, much appreciated.
Couldnt make it today but looks like everyone had a fun time and the sun was shining too :omg:

My favourite thing about the whole day (when considering twitter comments afterwards by players involved) is how the players in Tilly's successful years hold that team and period in the club's history in the same high regard as us fans. That must be a rarity in football.

and its suppose to be a family club as well eh.

Not sure what thats in reference to, but did remind me that whilst the Mark Wright team were warming up he was shouting across the pitch using the F Word. Smashing when theres lots of little kids 6 feet from him.

Tut tut.

Ill dismount my high horse now.

Fake Tan?

Didn't know they were going to be doing signings at the back in the Shrimpers trust tent. Still, got a few as they came out by the pitch. Sturrock (Who was in a rush and mumbled something about some more?), Hall, Ferdinand, Straker, Cresswell, Tomlin and Mark Bentley.

They kept giving out the fact players would be doing signings in the tent via the tannoy, and anyone noticing the queue which went all the way round and beyond the goal must have realised something was going on!

And before anyone criticises, the timings that the players came over was totally beyond the Trust's control. Freddy was ready and waiting on his own for a good 20 minutes before anyone else came over. Clohessy and Barks were last to appear, getting on for an hour later, as they'd been "playing" in the stocks. The queue took over 2 hours to finally disappear, so well done to those who stuck with it!

Well done to the club for putting this on. An excellent day, of course helped out by the weather. Wonderful to see again some old Blues playing in the exhibition game. And thanks to the squad and management for being so approachable, particularly our CEO Gary Lockett. You just wouldn't get this at a Premiersh!te club.

Agree with most of the positve comments - had to queue for about an hour and a quarter for autographs - not really a problem except we had our 18 month old who got a bit moody.Nice to meet the lads though & have a brief chat with the new guys who seemed like good lads.

My 11 year old son surprised me - We left about 2.30 after queuing and getting a ball signed by the team. As we walked through the car park Tilly had just got out of his car. My son (who went to a couple of games in the era but no way remembers them) was actually the first to spot him and dashed straight up to him to ask for a autograph and photo (which he was very happy to do) - So the legend continues into the next fan generation.
Can I just add my thanks to the club for doing this every year -I am sure it does wonders for making and building new life-long fans with the kids that get to meet their 'heroes'

What a brilliant photo, one to treasure im sure.

Dont know if its been mentioned elsewhere but I was really glad to see Tilly there yesterday, obviously still loves the club even if not leaving in the happiest of circumstances.

Got to say full credit to the club. I really enjoyed the day, there was plenty of stalls and things to do. Well done the club.
