Moussa support

Stop flirting you two..!

Back to Moussa, i think he has come on leaps and bounds in recent weeks and i reckon he is now one of the first names on the team sheet. Future captin one day...

I think mooooooooooooooooooos has been very good during our upturn in results and played out of position to boot, he looks confident on the ball and is playing very well indeed, since his return from wycombe has been a different player IMO, although I actually thought he was poo against walsall yesterday that apart has been very very good of late

The most over rated player in our team. Brings nothing to the table bar an interesting hair style. A poor mans maher if ever i saw one.

A good attempt to be controversial but I think you summed it up best when you said:

Well thought out contribution to an interesting debate....well done

Obviously what the current team needs is fewer players comfortable on the ball.

This is what happens every time a player plays just 1 bad game. He has been very good after coming back and after playing below average against Walsall, alot of 'fans' are calling him crap and over-rated etc. It happened to Freedman after he came back from an injury recently. Lets look at him over the WHOLE season and not just one game.

maybe your username should be "bertie the big banana".

I like Moussa but I think we need a left winger, I think Moussa would be a good option of the bench to run at and attack the defence from centre midfield. His set pieces are the best in the current squad and while we don't have a left winger I think the best option is to play Moussa out there.

I echo that, pretty much sums it up for me.

can't believe anyone who watches professional football cannot see the Moooses's emerging talent -

but there again some SUFC suporters thought Gower was no good -

Moussa has come on leaps and bounds since his loan spell at Wycombe. Perhaps it was the kick up the backside that was required.

I didn't see what the fuss with him was last season, and at the start of this season, but since his got back into the side since Chelsea away, his been one of the best performers.

Granted he was pants on Saturday. Decent header that forced Ince into a wonderful save, but apart from that offered very little to be honest.

Well said. Moussa was poor on Saturday but I always find it odd that some people are so keen to write him off when he is the best passer at the club and is only, what, 19? For me Moussa has the potential to be every bit as good as Kevin Maher and possibly better. Remember that the latter didn't come good until his mid to late-20s.

As for the chant, I've always been a little uncomfortable with it as when it drags on it does sound exactly like booing. If it was a short, sharp "Mouuuusse", with the emphasis on the 's', I think it would sound much more affectionate. Or maybe "Fraaaaaaaaaaank Moussssssa!" in the same style as "iiiiiiiiiit's Sammy!". Just a thought.

Moussa is not a fine player. He is 2nd to Francis and his setpieces are just chipped in, no conviction.

He is still the best one we have and anyway all Ronaldo does it hit and hope with his freekicks. Have you ever played football before. 'Chipping' the ball in the area is still a complex technique which I could explain but will bore you to death.
