so for those who could not make todays game, is there anywhere i can see the goals as I understand bluesworld does not show them

Im out all day tomorrow so hopefully when I get back in the evening they should still be on their

Have a feeling it might be on the good old "red button" job during the game they have on from 15:10 on bbc1 (Torquay v Yeovil) after which is the 2nd round draw.

disgraceful!
1 hour 10 min show
50 mins on 3 Premiership games
5 mins on Goal of the Month Competition
8 mins of Altrincham v Millwall
7 mins on selection of other FA Cup games
but no Southend....

What a waste of licence money!

really gets to me this, 2 penalties and 3 goals not good enough to make the show but pointless 1-1 draws are, how about an extra 5 minutes of the programme.:thump:

shows the "power" of the Premier****e. Even going back a few years the FA Cup used to get good coverage on MOTD and i used to love watching the non league sides being involved in a game like this, the 'romance' of the cup as they say. Sadly, yet again, slowly becoming a thing of the past

Poor stuff BBC :thump:

Very poor coverage by the BBC of the FA Cup 1st round today and a strange choice for the live match tomorrow. Does not look good for when they have the Football League highlights/goals next season. I think there were about 14 matches that did not get a mention.

Well done today to Horsham they won 4-1 in front of an excellent crowd of 3,379 and they were only playing Maidenhead. Only 2,300 at Billericay thought they were on for a 3,000 crowd?

Of course the coverage is poor in this Post-Sky era but, bearing in mind the Beeb only showed coverage or goals of the games their target audience may be vaguely interested in, it's hardly surprising Southend v Rochdale wasn't shown. I'm puzzled by some of the anger shown here.

When ITV get the televising rights I dare say the coverage will be significantly improved.

Not so sure about that, you will lose the 'Red Button' option of viewing all the goals.

So the BBC get some Coca-Cola live games/highlights and ITV get the FA cup, I doubt our coverage will improve either way.

At the end of the 'Goals on Sunday' show on SS1 they had about 5 minutes of cup goals (albeit the same goals that MOTD showed last night) they then went through their list of upcoming bits and pieces, and mentioned that The Big Weekend 2 was on Monday evening as usual featuring all the goals from the Coca-Cola Leagues :thump:

All the FA Cup First Round goals are being shown on a constant loop on BBC Interactive (via the red button on any BBC channel) all day today until midnight.
