Most satisfying film scene

At the risk of some serious **** taking, the closing scene of ET when he says goodbye to Elliott and his family. Always gets me.

A close second is in Avatar. The scenes leading up to Jake Sully finally taking out Colonel Miles Quaritchis, especially when the bad arse animal thing joins forces with Neytiri.

Incidentally, the poor kid in the ET puppet thing did the walking scenes upside down, using his hands. Probably a good thing CGI came along or child labour folkd would be having aneurysms left and right.

The scene in Deep Blue Sea when Samuel L Jackson gets it by a shark. Normally, I'm a fan but he was just irritating in that film.

How could I have forgotten this one?
