Morgan offski?

I thought Morgan was one of the better performers today, looked like he cared.

To be honest, I don't think we will see that much more of him today, he was getting some horrible stick from the East Reds that he clearly heard, doubt he'd want to stay...

Don't see it's a great loss, felt today was really crying out for Matt Harrold with their two big CBs.

As for Clarke being there today, maybe but I saw Damo Scannell on way out in his Eastleigh FC car (get him a new one quick) and that was only 5 mins after FT so he either made a quick exit or was just waiting outside in his car. Maybe next time we could get him on the pitch instead of Mark Gower who was clueless and lost today.

Don't get me wrong, I like Gower but he is really struggling for any sort of invention or consistency this season.

No great loss. did ok but another 'oh so nearly' striker. hopefully leeds plan to play him and he won't score there too. a little harsh I guess but we need a scorer now Leon is gone.

I like morgan myself. I think he's quite young and unexperienced but he's got a left foot and some of the balls he put in were decent..
I shouted out encouragement to him when he was down in 'my corner'.. because he did lose it a few times and run it out, but it's good to see someone runnign at goal i believe.

According to one guy who refused to name his source today as we were leaving the ground , Morgan is Goneski and will join Leeds tomoro. Maybe if he has been tapped up by the Poison Dwarf a while back it could explain some of those inept performances?

He did more on the wing in 15 mins than Gower did all game.

By that, I presume you mean fake to go one way, fall over and sit on the ball in a devilish attempt to outfox the opposition.

He has pace but he never seems to beat a man. He can hit a good free-kick yet doesn't seem to be able to kick a ball properly. He seems to have good ideas but no idea how to execute them. He can control a ball in an instant on his chest but seems to accidentally shoot when on his feet.

I suppose he has potential but we just can't afford to have two potentially good players up front. Hooper staked a reasonable claim for a starting palce I thought.

Hooper fcuked up a starting place with that glaring miss at Donny .

And again today - we have already seen what he is capable of - Northampton away - offside , offside , offside .

desperation time - best we let Johnny's boys have him IMHO

Now that would make my year,Hoops and Gray at Borient together upfront:D

Waste of time looked lively in one game then fizzled out, not really worth signing. Lets try and spend our money on somebody that is going to make a massive difference which Morgan is not going too.

Yes, that sums up Morgan well. He is immensely frustrating because there are times when he threatens to destroy defences with quick feet or a burst of pace, only to completely fall to pieces when he gets into the vital areas. I won't be too sorry to see him go, which is a shame as there is a decent player in him somewhere.

As for Hooper, he looked lively when he came on but he really should have scored the chance he had - and that sums up his career with us so far. I'd be tempted to start him on Saturday, too, but at the moment I'd rather see Harrold return and give us some much-needed height up front, particularly as Charlie Mac desperately needs a targetman alongside him.

Right behind the south stand goal.

Was cleared off the line. Magnificent block. Looked like it was in and out of nowhere it just didn't! :S
