Quote Ronnie Martini 2010: "We won’t be in same league as Morecambe"

I've got a really good feeling about tomorrow. I'm fully expecting a win and the run-in starts here. I predict SZ will be humming this weekend after 4.50pm with everyone wondering why we were so down. Come on you Blues:happy:

I remember him saying this, extra bit of motivation for Morecambe maybe!

The quote gets rolled out each time we play Morecambe. Didn't motivate them in the FA cup! Morecambe are going to get spanked.

Just read BBC report with opening lines "Morecombe haven't won since 26th Dec" "beaten 5-0 against Plymouth"
Home banker if ever there was one.
Sorry but after Wycombe, I just can't see us turning this around.

Yeah, I find it true that a group of professionals would have such a mentality but am only referring to what I have been told.

Apparently players have been turning up to Boots and Laces 'down in the dumps' all week.

Do we not employ a sports psychologist? If not, maybe we should, even of a part time basis.

Morecambe are yet to lose a league match against us, winning six and drawing the other.

2.5/1 with Bet365 is almost a sure fire way to print money I think.

Time to teach these northern monkey imposters with our name a lesson,2-0 Freddy and Hurst to seal the deal.

Praying these days, Can't keep going to these sh*t grounds an coming home with sod all.

Sorry, but I really think you need to justify/expand on that comment.....as all negative leaks from 'someone' and 'insiders' do.

Expand?

How would you like me to expand beyond what I am told?

Morale is low. The players have said they can see us losing tomorrow. The players are 'down in the dumps'. What more do you want?

These results cant go on for ever, we not that long ago were very decent side, we can be again. 3 0 to blues Hurst, and Corr with a brace.

I know I'm one of the eternal optimists when it comes to our results - but I feel the vibes around the Club in the last week or so are positive.
Hursty and Lenny committing to contracts, new stadium, bringing in players - apart from our dip in form things are on the up.
Therefore, I think we do have a side more than good enough to put a decent last promotion run together and for that reason I think Morecambe could just be on the end of a good spanking today - 0-3 with Hursty, Lenny & Barney on the score sheet. :omg:

They are booked on the 9.30 from Euston this morning and returning tonight. Maybe being treated to a coach on Tuesday.

Are the squad staying up north after the Morecambe game? A lot of travelling in a short space of time.

Hopefully Brown will freshen the team up a bit (Laird, Clifford?).

Jaffa. A friend who works closely with the team. Prosser was particularly down but that is understandable given his injury. Aside from that I was told the 'general consensus' of the players was that we will lose to Morcambe.
